What does private studio mean for my practice?
Every session is tailored to your body, your goals, and how you're feeling that day. If you're recovering from an injury, we adapt. If you're building strength for something specific, we focus there. If you arrive exhausted, we meet you with what you need. You're not following a generic class designed for multiple bodies with different needs. You're receiving instruction that evolves with you.
Will I actually learn, or just follow instructions?
This is where you actually learn. There's space to ask questions, experiment, make mistakes, and understand why movements work the way they do. Many clients tell us this is the first place they've felt truly comfortable exploring their body without pressure or comparison. We teach you to understand your movement patterns, not just perform exercises.
What's the difference between teaching and instructing?
Instructing is telling you what to do. Teaching is helping you understand why and how. We don't just guide you through movements—we help you discover what's happening in your body, why certain patterns exist, and how to change them. You leave each session not just having exercised, but having learned something about yourself. This knowledge stays with you and transforms how you move in your daily life.
How is the pace different from group classes?
The pace is yours. No rushing to keep up with a group, no waiting for others to finish, no modifying exercises on your own while the instructor helps someone else. Your entire session is focused, efficient, and designed to give you maximum benefit for the time you invest. We move at the speed your body needs.
Does it matter if I'm just trying it out or committing long-term?
Whether you come once to address a specific issue or commit to years of practice, we give you the same level of attention and expertise. Every session matters, and we treat it that way. This is serious work for people who value depth, understanding, and results that last.
